Other Therapies

Sports Massage - sports massage works deeply into the muscles to loosen and stretch tight, knotted or injured fibres. It incorporates a variety of specific techniques to increase flexibility, reduce muscular tension and remove scar tissue. In comparison to deep tissue or therapeutic massage, sports massage uses a range of movement examination before treatment to establish a more focussed massage suited to the needs of your body.

Reflexology - Reflexology is based on the principle that there are reflex areas on the feet that relate to other areas and the organs of the body. It is a natural and gentle form of pressure point therapy which promotes healing within the body, reducing physical, mental and emotional stress enabling the body to function naturally and to restore its own healing balance.

Massage therapy - we now have massage therapy available at the clinic. Massages can help relieve daily stresses and help to keep your muscles supple. Many of our patients combine Chiropractic treatment with seeing a masseur on a regular basis, so that their body is supple and flexible without any tensions.

Our massage therapist specialises in Aromatherapy, Thermal (Hot) Stones Massage as well as soft tissue massage for the whole body. The Massage therapist is often able to liaise and discuss with the Chiropractors (With patients permission) any concerns or queries in order to give the best massage treatment to a patient that is recovering from an injury already with the help of the Chiropractor.

All Chiropractors are Members of the British Chiropractic Association or United Chiropractic Association - Registered with the General Chiropractic Council
