Other Therapies

Pilates - Pilates classes are now available at the clinic. The clinic offers one to one classes and also group classes of four people in the group. This ensures you get plenty of direction when doing the exercises, so that you can get the maximum benefit from the classes.

This is a series of controlled exercises, connecting mind, body and continuous individual development. Pilates is good for strengthening the spine and increasing flexibility and balance.

Our chiropractors will be able to advice you on when to begin Pilates exercises in your treatment program. It may be something you have to wait for until your injury has healed. But once your injury has healed, then Pilates can play a significant part in strengthening your back with core strengthening exercises, which will help prevent or reduce the likelihood of future back problems.

Massage therapy - we now have massage therapy available at the clinic. Massages can help relieve daily stresses and help to keep your muscles supple. Many of our patients combine Chiropractic treatment with seeing a masseur on a regular basis, so that their body is supple and flexible without any tensions.

Our massage therapist specialises in Aromatherapy, Thermal (Hot) Stones Massage as well as soft tissue massage for the whole body. The Massage therapist is often able to liaise and discuss with the Chiropractors (With patients permission) any concerns or queries in order to give the best massage treatment to a patient that is recovering from an injury already with the help of the Chiropractor.
